Food empowerment at the Oji River Settlement.

In August, we have inspected all the food items for the empowerment project and successfully distributed different food supply and mosquito nets to the recipients. Many have benefited with bags of rice, bags of beans, bags of garri, cartons of vegetable oil, sack of onions, sack of crayfish, cartons of maggi, cartons of sachet tomatoes and powdered milk.

Two of the elderly were given money and different food supply.

Mrs. Grace Nwabueze blessed with two children will be embanking  on her footwear business. through the JCW empowerment, a start-up capital has been provided for the purchase of goods to be sold.

Mrs. Eunice Ugwu, a devoted wife and mother to three children  will be cultivating and processing cassava into swallow( fufu) for commercial purposes. The JCW empowerment scheme has made provision on the start-up capital.

Ms. Amaefuna Hannah, a devoted mother to a child will be starting a hair extension and accessories business. Provision has been made by the JCW empowerment program for the capital to purchase the needed products.

We also paid a visit at the health clinic.
