Food empowerment at the Oji River Settlement.

In July, we have inspected all the food items for the empowerment project and successfully distributed different food supply and mosquito nets to the recipients. Many have benefited with bags of rice, bags of beans, bags of garri, cartons of vegetable oil, sack of onions, sack of crayfish, cartons of maggi, cartons of sachet tomatoes and powdered milk.

Two of the elderly were given cash and different food supply.

Trading/Sustainability Empowerment

Through the JCW empowerment, Mrs. Chidimma has embarked on her home trading venture where she sells tomatoes and onions .

After undergoing training in tailoring and fashion design, Mrs. Chinaza a dedicated mother of two, is embarking on her tailoring workshop business.  Through the empowerment by JCW, all essential equipments such as a sewing machine has been provided.

Miss Favor is embarking on her new venture—a provision store business. With the support of JCW, she has been equipped with essential resources and capital for her start-up.
