Ground was broken on new toilet facilities in June, 2014. Once complete, this project brought leprosy sufferers and their families five flush toilets and a sink with fresh, running water. In addition to helping slow the spread of leprosy, proper sanitation has also been shown to help reduce the spread of all infections, viral and bacterial.
